6TH TERM WOB TURKEY PROGRAM BEGINS!
1. WHAT IS THE WOB TURKEY PROGRAM? It is Turkey’s first certification program for the preparation of leading women to the Boards of Directors. It is Turkey's first mentoring program, which WOB Turkey has been running since 2012, accredited by respected academic institutions in the field of Board Member training. Details	2. WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF THE WOB TURKEY PROGRAM? The 18-months program has 4 main components: 1.MENTORING PROGRAM: The opportunity to meet with the most effective business people of the Turkish Business World with an average of 9 times during 18 months. 2.COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT AND FEEDBACK PROCESS: The opportunity to recognize strengths and open areas for improvement. 3.CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: Training opportunities on different subjects from experienced names from the business and academic world with the Independent Board Membership Certificate Program accredited by respected universities and institutions. 3. WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN WOB TURKEY PROGRAM? The participants of the WOB Turkey Program are institutions. Institutions nominate leading women who meet the following criteria for the program and undertake the program fee when their participation is finalized: Having an agenda to become an Independent Board Member, Being the top female manager of the institution in which she works, with the potential to become a Board Member, Having the position of General Manager or preferably Assistant General Manager with profit and loss responsibility, Able to undertake the development certificate programs, participation in events and 9 meetings with the Mentor that WOB Turkey will organize for 18 months. Pre-application is accepted for leading women. Details	4. WHEN IS THE 6TH TERM OF THE WOB TURKEY PROGRAM PLANNED? The sixth term of WOB Turkey Program, which has completed 5 terms since 2012, will take place between January 2024 June 2025.
5. HOW DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS OF 6TH TERM WOB TURKEY PROGRAM WORK? Mente candidates can fill the Pre-Application Form until September 8, 2023. It is essential that the candidate meets the conditions of participation & obtains approval from the Board of Directors and HR Presidency of his institution. Pre-application form link: Details Candidates are evaluated by WOB Turkey through the pre-application forms. WOB Turkey conducts 30-minute one-to-one interviews with candidates who pass this stage. (September 21, 2023 – October 30, 2023). In December 2023, candidates are informed whether their applications have been approved or not. Mentee and Mentor matchings are announced at the launch event that will take place in December and the program begins.	6.
